For those of you who like the original and classic style of GTA SA and like to improve/fix the game without losing its originality, this is one of the mods that you should always have installed on your GTA. This is a large-scale project developed to fix all the game's buggy textures. All fixes are completely respectful of the game's originality (lore friendly).

There are indeed a lot of changes, and all of them had some basis. For example, many of the streets in the countryside were completely changed, but there is plenty of evidence that this was Rockstar's goal for the PC version.

It's important to note that the mod only fixes textures (.txd), not their UV mapping (their positioning in the .dff model).
Textures already include mipmapping (aliasing correction) and DXT5 (smooth transparency).
Anisotropic filtering recommended.

PS2 Styled Textures with PC Quality. Replaces several textures with the PS2 version, but with PC quality (for example, gray streets in San Fierro).

Tip: Because the mod has a lot of files, to avoid stuttering, have the game on SSD, defragment the HDD or import the files in .img [ 1 ][ 2 ] instead of ModLoader.

Fixes: Added PS2 textures for the pizzeria menu and tattoo images, which are more correct and of the same resolution (the prices of the products in the pizzeria are wrong on PC).
Original HD Textures: Added a large amount of HD textures from other Rockstar games and replaced the container texture with a better one also present in the game, and fixed a low resolution 24/7 logo (leftover from PS2).
PS2 for PC: Added the orange 24/7 PS2 logos, in PC quality, the Base5 billboard in LV, and added more frames with in-game photos (where on PC they were real photos).

Fixed markers and volumetric lights not being transparent.
Fixed missing volumetric light fix in the fixes-only version and wrong .txd name in the development folder (since old versions of the mod).

Jéssica Natália did a total overhaul of the mod, removing all the textures that were bad, that weren't really fixes, or that weren't the mod's objective (like car textures), and created an updated development folder with only the edited textures, which will make it easier to create new versions of the mod.
Another thing that was done is that most of the mod files were only for slightly more HD textures (from other Rockstar games, the mobile version, etc.). Now the mod is separated into two versions: only fixes, and fixes along with some HD textures.
